The Digital Society Podcast 093 with Tritonal

Digital Society PodcastTritonal

Tritonal Website

If success were measured musically, Tritonal would be on the highway to achieving the great American dream. At any given moment, their music is fueling a sing-along through a spin on the stereo airwaves or tearing up a dance floor at a packed club or festival. They have crossed musical and geographical boundaries and amazed us with their production luminaries and captivating live shows. But take of all that apart, and these talented guys just really want to inspire and to be inspired, blessed with the ability and means to do so.

It is this very reason why Dave Reed and Chad Cisneros, two extremely humble individuals from Austin, Texas, combined forces by chance in 2007 to venture into the dance realm. As they would say it, they “complete each other’s musical sentences.” In that process, Tritonal came to life. Within the short span of the last 2 years, they have charged into the arena and have fast-tracked into chalking up more accolades and accomplishments than some producers or DJs ever will in a lifetime. Despite a very crowded and almost overpopulated trance scene, inhabitants of Planet Dance have generously embraced Tritonal. Amidst the great wave of fresh names flooding the dance arena, they manage to stand out with their ability to evolve and accomplish, and they are the best candidates to put America and trance music on the map.

The Digital Society Podcast 092 with John 00 Fleming

Digital Society PodcastJohn 00 Fleming

John 00 Fleming Website

John 00 Fleming is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 20 years without dishonouring his musical essence or fans. With over 10 million album sales and 30 produced mix compilations, John’s a proven musical pioneer whose essence lies in what his fans call, ‘the J00F sound’. The J00F sound is as unpretentious as the artist, and is best described as deep and textured progressively edged trance, in an electronic dance music style that is an antithesis to what is normally produced within the genre.

In an industry rife in self worship and mirror gazing, John is characterised by a passion and ability to connect audiences by injecting his unique underground musical style, and not his ego, into the mainstream vein. This connection has manifested in ten mix compilations and five singles in the UK Top 40 charts on iconic labels: Virgin, EMI and Warner Music. It has also seen him headline major events worldwide, seeing in over 4000 appearances at the likes of Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound, Digital Society and Global Gathering, through to Holland’s Dance Valley, Serbia’s Exit Festival, Brazil’s Exxxperience, Australia’s Future music festivals, Belgium’s Tomorrowland, and the U.S.A’s Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC).

John 00 Fleming is a performer who adroitly crafts something musically organic from the inorganic, artfully opening your senses into a genre far more pervasive than you currently know. Challenge yourself, and get intelligently immersed, inside his adventurous odysseys.

The Digital Society Podcast 086 with Sequentia

Digital Society PodcastSequentia

Sequentia Website

Sequentia is a trance music production duo formed by Daniel Garczyk (Far & Away) from Germany and Mark Hoogkamer (Spiral Motion) from The Netherlands.
The story of Sequentia is one of friendship and a shared love for electronic dance music. Before Daniel (Aachen, Germany, 22 years old) and Mark (Rotterdam, The Netherlands, 23 years old) met they both started producing trance music using FL Studio. After a few years the two solo projects, respectfully Far & Away and Spiral Motion, began to take off. The guys heard each others tunes in DJ sets and started to chat and exchange music files in order to improve their skills.

After much success together the Sequentia project became the guys’ number one priority, resulting in various singles played by all the top jocks around the globe. Sequentia proved to be a much wanted remix act as well, with takes on singles by Lost Witness and Jan Johnston to name a few. They had quite successful moments with “Kaleidoscope”, the release of “Eclipse” on Enhanced Recordings, “Higher State / Sun Worship” (an E.P. on Dark Noize Recordings), the Sequentia Remix of “Forgotten Freedom” by Moonforce & Mark Versluis and let’s not forget their remix of Adam Nickey’s “Never Gone” for their favourite label Anjunabeats. Still, chasing after world fame is not the guys’ intention at all. Sequentia is about making music that touches people, and as long as people keep playing their singles and remixes, it’s all worth it which proves that their passion for producing dreamy uplifting trance music transcends any current fashion.
